[Wrap-Up] April 2017

[Wrap-Up] April 2017

When I wrote up my March Wrap-Up post, I mentioned that I was feeling a bit slumpish. Unfortunately, my slump got much worse and it took over every aspect of my life. I was still able to read a number of books, but the slumpish feeling definitely affected my reading overall.

I also had to put off any honest review requests this month because I didn't want anything to affect my ratings of those books. So thank you to all for bearing with me!

Here's to hoping May is a better reading month for me. But let's get into my wrap-up!

My Rating Breakdown:

Thanks for reading!
How many books did you read in April?

  1. You did really well for being in a slump! I'd be interested to hear if you think the DNF's were related to being in a reading slump, or if you think you would have DNF'ed them anyway?! :)

    1. Right?! I totally shocked myself. I really felt like I wasn't getting ANY reading done, but clearly that isn't the case!

I think I would have DNFed those books anyway.

A Separation was so darn boring to me.

The Annotated Sandman was just too much, though I would like to get the normal versions at some point!

And Empress of a Thousand Skies was far too repetitive and boring to me.

      Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Hope May is a great reading month! I've been on the fence about Norse Mythology but after reading your review I'm leaning towards trying it. It would be my first time with Gaiman and I've been wondering which of his books to try, so maybe this is the one.
